Privacy Policy

Aquipe Limited ("Aquipe", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
Booking details: your name, business name, email, phone, and the names of attendees.
Payment details: online payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but never see or store card numbers.
Enquiries: what you send us through our forms, by email or by phone.
Training records: course attended, date and certificate issued.
Website use: cookies and analytics tools record pages visited, device and browser type, and how you found our site.
Why we collect it
To take and manage bookings, issue tax invoices and certificates, and send course information.
To answer enquiries and prepare quotes for on-site training.
To send training news and offers, if you have signed up or are an existing customer. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To improve our website and courses, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Aquipe, and only as needed:
Rocketspark (website and booking forms)
Stripe (payment processing)
Google Workspace and Google Analytics (email and website statistics)
Our CRM, email marketing and accounting software
Blackfern Co-operative, if you pay with Blackfern reward points
Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand, for example in Australia or the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make it work and to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly.
How we store and protect it
We keep personal information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to the people who need it. We keep booking and invoice records for at least 7 years, as New Zealand tax law requires, and delete other information when we no longer need it. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll tell the people affected and the Privacy Commissioner.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email training@aquipe.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
